Only stayed 3 nights, as we were in a hurry, but glad that chose this beautifully decorated hotel. Location: the venue was right by the center of Tapalpa and La Casona for one night and an alley. Luckily it was close to Madre Tierra, had pastries there when it was cold outside.

Started the New Year with complementary cava and grapes for good luck. the fresh mountain air was pure and invigorating. Close to the town center, bars, and restaurants.
No hot water on the first night and the room was freezing cold due to no heating. the staff were distant and unhelpful, didn't bother to deal with the problem quickly.
